Ice in your AC Unit?
Tuesday, April 05, 2011
If you ever see ice in your air unit, it could be low on freon or the air flow is poor. Low air flow can be caused by dirty air filter or parts within the unit that need cleaning. First check your air filter and if its dirty replace it, shut your unit off but let the fan run for a couple of hours until the unit deice. Once the unit has thawed restart it. If ice reappears, call a qualified contracter to service your unit.
